All visits to our health centers require an appointment. We ask new patients to be sure to arrive 25 minutes early to your appointment to allow time to fill out paperwork.

Patients without insurance coverage should also bring proof of income to their first visit (pay stubs, etc.).

In case of an emergency, do not wait for an appointment. Call 911 immediately. Examples of a health emergency include chest pain, extreme shortness of breath, vomiting of blood, and other serious abnormal symptoms.

Open Access Appointments Scheduling -In 2010 Primary Health solutions scheduled over 42,000 patient visits.  O those visits more than 10,000 resulted in the patient not showing up for their appointments.  That represents a barrier to care.  When patients called because they were sick, no appointments were available or the appointments were several weeks out.  This was very discouraging to patients who were ill and needed to see their provider.  We realize patients live busy lives and scheduling so far in advance may be a problem.  Therefore we have instituted OPEN ACCESS scheduling.

What is OPEN ACCESS? - Open Access simply means we do not book future appointments.  Patients call the day they would like to be seen by their provider and we do our best to get them in the same day.  This better aligns our medical staff resources with the needs of the patients.

Are there Exceptions?  - Yes.  We work with patients who must arrange for transportation and we pre-book appointments the first 2 hours of each day.  Since these appointments are limited, patients with a history of 3 or more no show appointments will not be given one of these appointments.

We understand this is a change, however the new system allows us to make more appointments available for everyone.
