Primary Health Solutions mission is to improve community wellness through access to quality, affordable, integrated primary healthcare.  This mission drives the decision making of the organization.  One recent decision that was made was to expand Express Care services.

Express Care is a unique service that offers acute medical services on a walk-in, first come first served basis.  A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is able to evaluate and treat minor conditions and facilitate a follow up appointment with the individual’s primary care provider. Express Care can order X-Rays, lab/blood draws and perform some minor procedures.  By utilizing Express Care services, patients can reduce their visits to urgent care or the emergency room when health concerns arise in the evenings or on the weekend when offices are closed.

Primary Health Solutions has been operating its Express Care location in Middletown since 2014 and has recently expanded those services to include additional hours and locations.  Express Care is now offered in Hamilton at the NW Washington Blvd. location and will soon be offered at the new location in Dayton on Forrest Ave.  Express Care is available 7 days a week from 11am -9pm.  Previously, Express Care services were only available 11am-9pm Monday - Friday and 11am – 4pm Saturday and Sunday at the Middletown location.

Stephen Roller, Chief Clinical and Operations Officer says, “We’ve seen this [Express Care] be a benefit to our patients over the past 5 years so we’re expanding and it will continue to be a key piece as PHS goes to new locations.”  Express Care is available to current PHS patients and the community at large.  For more information on Express Care, click HERE.
