As every year winds down, the chatter about New Year’s resolutions begin to rise. Whether you’re optimistic about the New Year or not, resolutions typically encourage a sense of positivity. For some, resolutions can include personal or career goals or simply just a happy and healthy overall view.

Primary Health Solutions is here to help all of our patients reach their health goals in 2018. We encourage patients to continue their primary care visits as well as scheduling appointments for our dental, vision, women’s health, nutritional, WIC and behavioral health services. With more integration between services, patients are able to get a better-rounded evaluation of their personal health.

In 2018, Primary Health Solution’s New Year’s resolution is to bring our services and assistance to where you are. Digital connectivity has helped us engage with our community through social media and our mobile-friendly website. Once registered through our Patient Portal,  patients are able to access medical records. With the swipe of a finger, patients get access to a variety of pertinent information, right when and where they need it.

It’s easy to struggle maintaining health goals following the month of January as other things in life can get in the way. However, our centers are available to you year round to keep you on track by routine appointments and checking in with behaviorists and nutritionists. We’re here to help you!

For many, health goals are rooted in motivation. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, maintaining healthy weight and overall health is fairly simple through their great list of steps:

OVERVIEW

  1. Make a commitment.
  2. Create a support network.
  3. Set realistic goals.
  4. Track progress.
  5. Be ready.
  6. Learn how to handle setbacks.
  7. Reward yourself.
