Hamilton, OH - As healthcare rapidly evolves to a value-based reimbursement system, healthcare organizations must be addressing the importance to patients, providers and the overall health system that high quality, integrated care provides. As a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Primary Health Solutions (PHS) has been an early adopter of this model and is committed to being the leader in the highest-quality, comprehensive integrated health care in southwest Ohio. With this focus, Primary Health Solutions is pleased to announce that Christie Banford has joined the organization as Director of Quality Improvement.
Christie graduated with a degree in nursing from Wright State University in 1994 and is currently completing her Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She has served in various management and leadership roles at Kettering Health Network, Dayton Children’s & Premier Health Partners. She has directed quality of care and patient satisfaction initiatives and is focused on ensuring that PHS patients receive the best care and providers are best equipped to meet the diverse and complex needs of the community.
In addition to her work experience and accolades, Christie serves as a member of the Dayton Organization of Nurse Leaders, has served on the board of the Ohio Organization of Nurse Leaders, and is active in community soccer and church activities.
At Primary Health Solutions, Christie will be responsible for ensuring an integrated approach to care and that providers are evidence-based and delivering exceptional results. Her experience identifying and removing barriers to best outcomes by implementing innovative delivery models will help patients best access care and move further down the path to wellness. In addition to ensuring best possible outcomes for patients, Christie’s clinical training and experience will ensure that while Primary Health Solutions continues to add new locations and expand access to care, the commitment and track record of clinical excellence will continue.
