The second year of Healthy Hamilton is already off to a great start; but it’s a little bit different than last year’s event.  Last year, Healthy Hamilton was one day at Marcum Park where many community members and organizations came together for a day of education, fitness, and fun.  This year, it was decided to make Healthy Hamilton even bigger and better by providing 10 days of activity over 10 months.  Each month, members of the community will be meeting in a different 17Strong! Neighborhood for an hour and a half of education, fitness, and fun.

There will still be a big event in Marcum Park this year on June 1st, Healthy Hamilton Day.  For this day of activity, Healthy Hamilton will host the Primary Health Solutions’ “My First 5K.”  This is a FREE 5K for anyone and everyone!  If you are just starting on your fitness journey or if you are already a seasoned runner, you can participate.  You can walk, run, skip, jog; we don’t care as long as you’re moving!
