Shawntae Romanello


APRN-CNP - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Shawntae joined Primary Health Solutions in January, 2020 after several years in community mental health. She also recently provided inpatient consultation work at Fort Hamilton Hospital in the acute psychiatric unit, and she holds an appointment as clinical adjunct faculty for Miami University's College of Nursing.  

Shawntae earned her bachelor's degree in Nursing at Miami University (OH) in 2003.  She completed her master's degree in nursing-healthcare administration at the University of South Alabama in 2009, and her post-master's training in psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati in 2017.  Prior to her work as a psychiatric clinician, Shawntae enjoyed various experiences in nursing, ranging from the cardiovascular ICU at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama to case management, quality and provider peer review.     

Born and raised in Hamilton, Shawntae is looking forward to serving her hometown community in her new role.  She resides in West Chester with her husband and four boys.
