Audra Ryan-Shepard


MD - Psychiatrist

Audra Ryan-Shepard, MD, MPH, is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She holds a Medical Doctorate and a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy. While in medical school, Dr. Ryan-Shepard engaged in research and volunteer projects to support Somali refugee populations, and traveled internationally to serve communities in Kenya and Haiti. She was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship in 2007. Dr. Ryan-Shepard trained in general psychiatry at Duke University Health System and completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Duke University, serving as co-chief resident during the 2nd year of her fellowship. She has particular interests in advocacy, policy, and working with underserved populations and family systems. Outside of work, Dr. Ryan-Shepard enjoys traveling, yoga, and spending time with her family and dogs. She is excited to be a part of Primary Health Solutions to work collaboratively with adults, teens, and children on enhancing their mental and physical health.
